SAMANTHA NUNU BIOGRAPHY - The pace setter in the publishing industry


Samantha Nomaswazi Nunu 

is an Author, Poet, Speaker, Story teller, founder & C.E.O of Singcoli Creative Writers Foundation. She is also the Director of Heart Flames Distributers/ Readers an organisation which looks into the distribution of books.

Samantha has so far published the following titles for children’s literature: The Adventures of Raj: In the Kingdoms of the world, The Great Warrior and the Mnimbuyu houses, Violet Rose and the Pfulele Mountains, The Little Poet and her friend, and for adult literature she has the following titles: In the Hawk’s Claws and Providence: The Mirror’s Reflection.
 
Samantha is also published in a poetry anthology with Abahayi benkondlo, (Poetry reciters) titled, Umthombo wenkondlo, (The well of poetry). The poets included are Mathanzima Dube, Nobesuthu Khumalo, Senzeni Sibanda ,and Nokubonga Mpofu just to name a few.

She recently completed working on a poetry anthology titled Matters of the Heart by Tumisho Mary Moetlo, a poet from Limpopo Province, South Africa. For this work she joined hands with Albert Nyathi who wrote the foreword, Vongai Monica Mujakachi for the afterword and Kgalalelo Moyo for proofreading. The publication date will be released accordingly.

Samantha is currently working on publishing her new book Providence, Darker Ashes and her Poetry anthology titled, Tropical love, of which the publication dates are soon to be announced.

She is also completed her contribution to the July Sisterhood collaboration to be published by year end. 

Several pieces of her poetry have been published online which include: As I begin to love myself, Tropical love, Bees and Flowers, Mother’s heart, Acoustic & Acoustic: The Reply where she collaborated with HiRev the Rock star.

On the 1st of February 2020, she was profiled on 3-Mob.com where her poem Bazooka was published collectively.

Samantha is a member of Zimbabwe Academic and Non Fiction Authors Association (ZANA)
