 Youth Network Connect is an information share and action based youth network organization found in the city of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.


Philimon Nyirenda

Founded by Philimon Nyirenda from Mabutweni in Bulawayo, YNC was designed and dedicated to promote professional development activities, to create life changing experiences for youth success by supporting community organizations through networking, youth policy advocacy and to increase youth participation on issues that affect them. The Youth Network Connect envisions better lives for youths who cannot see it themselves and at the same time making them realize their potential.

The idea was birthed in 2018 after the realization that Youths have been forgotten in the national opportunities and no one has been willing to assist them starting from their economic development. Many youths are unemployed and more are in precarious or informal work. Youth Network Connect was formed so that all youths should be connected to each other to resources, to thought leaders, to socio-economic opportunities through the creation of shared spaces for meaningful engagement and collaboration.We believe that youths voices have more power if we join together and that is why we have set up the Y.N.C.

 Youth Network Connect has been providing a holistic ,balanced and callibrated effort to inspire economically and socially responsible young Zimbabweans. As an organization we promote innovative, entrepreneurship skills development through workshops and  trainings etc.

They are the first organization to start lockdown online workshops, discussions and youth conferences where we had speakers from U.S.A, Australia, Czech republic, South Africa, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. We have assisted few youths to be employed , assisted youths to be trained in Forex trading for free.

"We want to  open societies in Zimbabwe that involves the holistic participation of young people and to promote the visibility of young people in all cities by supporting the empowerment and capacity building of all young people. We wish to connect youths across borders and cultures for meaningful collaboration and exchange. We want to have trainings centres, hold yearly entrepreneurship conferences at ZITF where youths can network and share ideas" said the founder and managing director Mr Philimon Nyirenda.
